Social Media Manager
If you are interested in serving with Don’t Miss Your Turn, we would love to hear from you.
Lead Sewing Instructor
The Lead Sewing Instructor helps guide and teach the girls sewing ministry by leading beginner-friendly sewing lessons, demonstrating basic sewing techniques, preparing simple class projects, and helping students safely use sewing machines and tools.
This volunteer should have sewing experience, patience, and a heart for encouraging girls ages 10–14 as they build creativity, confidence, focus, and practical life skills in a safe, faith-centered environment.
Community Outreach Coordinator
The Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator helps Don’t Miss Your Turn connect with local churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals who may be willing to support the girls sewing ministry through donated space, sewing machines, supplies, sponsorships, partnerships, or other resources.
Sewing Class Volunteers
Sewing Class Volunteers help support the girls sewing ministry by assisting students during class, encouraging them as they learn, helping with sewing projects, setting up and cleaning up supplies, and creating a safe, patient, and welcoming environment. Volunteers do not need to be expert seamstresses, but should be kind, dependable, patient, and willing to help girls ages 10–14 grow in confidence, creativity, and practical sewing skills.
Program Intake Coordinator
The Volunteer Program Intake Coordinator helps Don’t Miss Your Turn create and organize student intake forms, parent/guardian information, emergency contact details, consent forms, and class registration materials for the girls sewing ministry and future programs.
Social Media Management
The Volunteer Social Media Manager helps Don’t Miss Your Turn share the heart and mission of the girls sewing ministry through social media. This role includes creating and scheduling posts, sharing ministry updates, highlighting needs such as donated sewing machines and supplies, promoting upcoming classes, and helping the community stay connected with what God is building through this ministry.
