Work With Us
We’re building something bigger than ourselves—and we’re not meant to do it alone.
At Don’t Miss Your Turn, we believe no one should have to walk alone. That’s why we’re building more than just a community center—we’re building a network of people and organizations who are ready to help.
Whether someone needs a place to stay, access to mental health care, nutrition education, emotional support, or spiritual guidance—we want to be a starting point. A place where people come looking for help, and find it through you.
What It Means to Partner With Us
When someone comes to Don’t Miss Your Turn in need of support, our job is to listen carefully, understand their situation, and connect them with the best people and resources available. Sometimes that’s us. Many times, it will be one of our trusted partners.
We are looking to build a diverse network of helpers—individuals and organizations who can offer support in areas like:
• Education and tutoring
• Financial coaching or aid
• Temporary or long-term housing
• Medical care or health services
• Nutrition and meal support
• Therapy or mental health services
• Physical activity and fitness
• Recovery and rehabilitation
• Emotional support and mentorship
• Career coaching or job placement
• Spiritual growth and pastoral care
• Practical life skills (parenting, cooking, growing food, etc.)
You don’t need to be a big organization. We welcome everyone from licensed professionals to local churches, nonprofits, counselors, nutritionists, mentors, and anyone else with a heart to help.
This is a true partnership—you won’t be working for us, and we won’t be micromanaging your methods. We simply want to build bridges between the people who need help and the people equipped to provide it.
How It Works (in a nutshell)
The details of each partnership will vary based on the services offered and the needs of the people we serve. Right now, we are:
1. Actively building our partner directory
2. Learning more about what you offer
3. Designing workflows that will make it easy to refer someone to you when the need arises
Some partnerships may be as simple as sharing a contact. Others may involve events, ongoing referrals, or co-hosted classes. We’re building this together.
Who We’re Looking For
• Organizations with existing services
• Skilled individuals with time and heart to serve
• Faith-based groups who want to live out their calling
• Local professionals who want to give back
• Anyone with a gift or resource to offer
